Fresh watermelon signals the beginning of summer. One of our favorite ways to enjoy watermelon is in a delicious Watermelon Agua Fresca sweetened with honey.
You can substitute granulated sugar or maple syrup in place of honey, but we like using honey from a local beekeeper. You can also make this recipe with any other type of melon like honeydew or cantaloupe as well.
Agua Fresca also makes great popsicles! Just pour it into a popsicle mold and in a couple hours the kids will have some yummy ice pops to enjoy!
